Lakes Entrance Little Athletics will stage a colour run event on Saturday at Lakes Entrance Secondary College, with access via the Whiters Street entry from 9.30am.
The event is being held to celebrate the conclusion of the club’s inaugural season, inviting all members registered for the 2025/26 campaign to join in the final cross-country run of the year. Participants are instructed to bring white clothing suitable for getting colourful, a drink bottle and running shoes.
Organisers are excited to welcome special guest Chris Dixon, a local runner from Stratford who represented Australia in ultramarathon competition, where he helped the national team secure a bronze medal.
The Lakes Entrance club is also hoping to welcome members from neighbouring clubs, including Sale Little Athletics Centre, Bairnsdale Little Athletics Centre and Orbost Little Athletics, to celebrate the end of the season together.
