East Gippsland Branch of Melbourne Legacy is conducting its annual primary fundraising activity from Monday, August 31 to Saturday, August 5.
Legacy has been providing lifelong care and support for Veteran’s families since its establishment in 1923.
All donated money is spent to provide care and support for Legacy Widows and Beneficiary Families in the local East Gippsland area only.
Legacy badges and merchandise will be available at the following locations from 9.30am to 3.30pm, Coles, Woolworths, Bunnings and Lucke’s Fresh Market in Bairnsdale and IGA in Paynesville.
The current Chair/Secretary of the East Gippsland Branch of Melbourne Legacy Tony Webb stated that the local East Gippsland Community has generously supported Legacy each year during Legacy Week.
“This is greatly appreciated by the local widows and beneficiary families who we provide care and support to, in honour of the service and sacrifice of their family members who have served in the military,” Tony said.
