Next weekend, art and craft lovers are invited to Eagle Point for the much-anticipated open studio event at Wendy Reeve’s ceramics studio in Eagle Point.
For nearly 15 years, Wendy has been creating stunning works of art inspired by the natural world from her tranquil Eagle Point studio, following her move from Melbourne.
Wendy’s ceramics span unique, functional tableware and sculptural pieces that reflect the forms, textures and colours of her surroundings.
Her work showcases the techniques of hand-building and wheel-throwing, creating organic forms that celebrate the beauty of nature.
The natural tones of her glazes and clay echo the landscapes that inspire her.
Visitors will also get a chance to explore the works of Wally Reeve, Wendy’s father, whose woodworking studio is located next door.
Wally specialises in handcrafted boxes made from recycled timbers and repurposed materials.
His creations, perfect for keepsakes, jewellery and décor, bring warmth and charm into any home.
The event, which will run on Saturday, September 5 and Sunday, September 6 from 10am-2pm, will feature a range of ceramic and wooden works for sale, including special Christmas offerings.
