Garry Jeal dominated last Saturday’s medley stableford event at the Lakes Entrance Golf Club.
Jeal finished with a sensational 41 points to win both “B” grade and overall.
He won the overall event on countback from “D’ grade winner, Di Dickson, who also had a day out, accumulating 41 points.
Classy left hander, Jamie Coates was successfully in “A” grade with 35 points on countback from Matthew Stevens.
Peter Kane took out “C” grade with 36 points on countback from Allen McKenna.
Last Thursday’s medley par event attracted a strong field of 72 participants, and was led home by Adrian Parry (“C” grade), with a score of plus five.
Dean Grining was the winner of “A” grade with a score of plus three, with Russell Webb winning “B” grade on countback from Norm Backman after both finished with plus one.
Renee Percival hit the ball superbly on Wednesday, taking “A” grade with 37 points, with Sue Wilson successful in “B’ grade.
In last week’s Young and the Rest of Us, Ruth McPhee was the winner on countback from Judith Collins.
