Caroline Packer is teaming up with Bairnsdale Neighbourhood House to offer art workshops and classes this September through to Christmas.
She will also be doing art workshops at her studio in Lakes Entrance during the school holidays and classes in term four.
After her successful exhibition at the Forge Theatre in March, Caroline, also known as Pax, is excited to be offering a watercolour workshop in the afternoon on Saturday, September 19 and a Kids Pastel pastels workshop in the morning at Bairnsdale Neighbourhood House.
She is also offering a 10 week course in watercolours in term four starting on Monday, October 12, and on a Monday after school she will be running a kids art class.
Caroline Packer (Pax) started her artistic career in Queensland, selling her photography and art in her own galleries in the 1990s after travelling Australia; her beloved Pentax in hand and doing markets to fund the journey.
She then built a gallery on her farm in the Mallee.
In 2025 Caroline returned to the coast, setting up her business Pax Art Therapy and Art Studio in Lakes Entrance and quickly established her art classes at her home studio and gallery selling her original art and local photography.
On September 24, workshops for kids and adults will run and her studio will be open to the public.
Then in term four you can choose from a five week evening watercolour class or a 10 week acrylic painting course. She is also offering an after school kids class on a Tuesday afternoon.
The success of her Paint and Sip event during the Winter Festival means that Caroline and the Kalimna Hotel will be hosting two more, one on Saturday, October 17 with a Beach Landscape Theme and one on Sunday, October 25 with a Halloween Theme; Day of the Dead.
She will also be hosting a Family Paint Workshop on November 7 to paint Dragons and on October 24 you can learn how to make resin pendants from acrylic pours.
Caroline is also a trained Transpersonal Creative Arts Therapist and can work with NDIS clients and general public, offering a unique approach to mental health issues and providing relief and enjoyment through art experimentation.
She is also renowned for her murals.
Community groups and school groups have commissioned Caroline to work on Community Art projects; her murals are dotted across regional Victoria.
As a qualified teacher, she teaches art privately and in schools. Caroline also has a Bachelor of Science. It was at university studying National Park Management and working as a Seasonal Ranger; that her love for nature and capturing nature’s energy artistically began.
