Golf East Gippsland (GEG) has officially named its men’s representative team for the upcoming annual Victorian Country Week tournament, set to take place in the Ballarat region next month.
The three-day competition will run from September 14 to 16, with matches played across the Buninyong, Midlands and Ballarat golf clubs.
The selected squad brings together top talent from across East Gippsland and Wellington Shires, featuring Matt Walkenhorst (Bairnsdale), Dean Barelli and Stuart Yates (Lakes Entrance), Dale Reynolds, Danny Bullen, Cooper Rimington, and Hayden Burgiel (Maffra), Alf Jessup (Newry/South Pines) and John Simic (Sale).
Golf East Gippsland officials extended their thanks to all golfers from across the district who put their names forward for selection during the nomination process.
