Lakes Entrance Netball Association welcomed a strong turnout of local youngsters to its recent “Come and Try” session at Lakeside Oval, buoyed by growing participation numbers across junior age divisions.
Organisers reported high enthusiasm and engagement as numbers swelled across all age brackets during the open evening.
Activity was high across the courts, with large groups taking part in the entry-level NET-SET-GO program alongside four teams in the under 11 division and two teams in the under 15 competition.
Following the success of the open session, association officials are keen to maintain momentum, inviting more local children to get involved and build team numbers for the upcoming season.
