Lakes Entrance Little Athletics Club recently held its annual general meeting, welcoming new faces to the executive as the thriving local club prepares for its next chapter.
Elizabeth Nairn was elected president, supported on the executive by Trent Clarke (vice president), Kevin Hiscock (treasurer) and Ellie Darcy (secretary).
Kirra Wheeler was appointed registrar, Amber Castleman takes on the role of coaching coordinator, and Jamie Darcy will serve as competition and event coordinator. Shani Andrews and Wheeler will head up fundraising efforts, with Mark Nairn joining as a general committee member.
Following elections, the committee got right to work discussing new equipment purchases and planning upcoming events for
local athletes. Further announcements will be shared across the club’s social media channels in the coming weeks.
The club extended its sincere thanks to the sponsors, donors, families, athletes and volunteers whose support made its inaugural season a resounding success.
