Green Studio has officially launched its local studio on Carpenter Street, bringing a registered architectural practice and more than two decades of design and construction expertise to the coastal community.
Led by Callan Green and Lindsay Le Gros, the practice specialises in residential, commercial and public projects. Mr Green, who grew up on an East Gippsland farm and spent years exploring the region from the 90 Mile Beach to Mount Hotham, returns to local practice following an extensive international career.
Together, Mr Green and Ms Le Gros have delivered architectural projects across Canada, Korea and India, and recently completed a housing renovation in Japan. The pair chose Lakes Entrance as their permanent base, citing a strong alignment between regional lifestyle, business opportunity and community connection.
Operating out of Carpenter Street, Green Studio offers end-to-end building services, including concept design, town planning documentation, detailed construction drawings, interior design and project coordination.
The physical studio space also doubles as a showcase for handcrafted timber furniture and homewares designed and built locally by the team.
Mr Green and Ms Le Gros emphasised a commitment to practical, site-responsive design tailored to local environmental conditions, expressing gratitude for the community’s warm welcome as they establish their practice.
