To help bridge the gap in local health services, audiologist Lizzie Kemper has established Lakes Audiology at 23 Myer Street, focusing on accessible, high-quality and personalised care for the East Gippsland community.
For Ms Kemper, the business is deeply personal. Born with bilateral sensorineural hearing loss, she has worn hearing aids since her teenage years — a lived experience that directly informs her clinical approach and patient care.
Lakes Audiology provides comprehensive services including diagnostic hearing assessments, hearing aid fittings and maintenance, tinnitus management and micro-suction earwax removal.
The clinic is an accredited provider under the federal Hearing Services Program for eligible pension cardholders and offers Medicare rebates for clients attending with a GP referral.
