The Lakes Entrance Little Athletics Centre is seeking passionate and enthusiastic volunteers to join its committee for the upcoming track and field season.
The centre’s annual general meeting (AGM) will be held on Saturday, August 1, starting at 4pm at the Mechanics Hall.
Nominations are now officially open for a wide range of executive and general roles. Available positions include president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, child safe officer, safety officer, coaching coordinator, fundraising coordinator, registrar, volunteer coordinator, age group coordinators and ordinary committee members.
Centre representatives say joining the committee is a rewarding opportunity to contribute directly to the success of local junior athletes, support families, and help shape the future of the sporting club.
No prior committee experience is necessary to get involved, with full support, induction, and handovers provided for all incoming volunteers.
Nomination forms can be obtained from the secretary by emailing lakesentrance@lavic.com.au. Completed forms must be submitted by the closing date of Saturday, July 25.
