The team at NAB Lakes Entrance is inviting the local community to its branch this Friday for a dedicated Banking Support Day.
The open day event will take place this Friday, July 10, from 9.30am to 2pm at the branch located at 299-301 Esplanade. Community members are encouraged to head along, meet the local banking team and enjoy a complimentary NAB-themed donut supplied by regional favourite Big Bears Donuts. Attendees will also have the opportunity to learn more about the bank’s regional initiatives and enter a draw to win local prizes.
As the only remaining full-time bank operating in Lakes Entrance, the branch is using the day to highlight its commitment to providing personal, face-to-face service from real bankers to individuals, families and businesses across East Gippsland. The Lakes Entrance branch remains open Monday to Thursday from 9.30am to 4.30pm, and Fridays from 9.30am to 5pm.
The event will also highlight the bank’s continued support for surrounding communities through its dedicated Orbost agency, which operates Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 12.30pm to ensure outlying residents retain access to face-to-face services close to home.
Beyond standard counter services, the local team is heavily involved in the community, sponsoring grassroots sports including the Lakes Entrance Football Netball Club and local Auskick programs. Staff also regularly volunteer at major regional events, including local agricultural field days and the Hooked on Lakes Entrance festival alongside LEFCOL.
With cybercrime on the rise, scam awareness and digital safety will form a key focus of the support day. The team regularly hosts education sessions for community groups, businesses, and local organisations to help residents recognise common scams, stay safe online, and protect their finances.
Whether residents are looking to open a first account, manage everyday transactions, grow a business, or plan for the future, the team will be on hand throughout Friday to assist.
For further information ahead of the open day, community members can contact the Lakes Entrance branch directly.
