The Lakes Entrance Basketball Association has wrapped up another highly successful term of its grassroots Aussie Hoops program, with local youngsters enthusiastically embracing the fundamentals of the sport.
From their first bounce to their first successful shots, the energetic participants turned up to the courts each week ready to learn, develop their skills, and give the game a red-hot go.
While skill development was a core focus of the program, the main goal for the term was fun and teamwork. The weekly sessions featured plenty of short, small-sided basketball games that kept the courts filled with laughter, smiles, and high-fives between players and coaches alike.
Association officials extended their gratitude to the young players for the fantastic energy they brought to the court each week, as well as the parents for their ongoing courtside support.
Special acknowledgement was also given to local coaches Penny and Rachel for their tireless work and dedication in running the grassroots junior program.
