After 10 weeks of competition the Lakes Entrance Netball Association (LENA) under 13 competition wrapped up last week.
The competitive phase of the season wrapped up with a fun round robin game before celebrating together at the presentation.
Millie and Shiloh were awarded best and fairest for the season after consistently demonstrating outstanding sportsmanship, teamwork and skill on the court.
Willow, who was named runner-up best and fairest.
Millie also finished the season as our leading goal scorer, with Riley recognised as the runner-up goal scorer.
Coaches’ most improved players awards were presented to Chloe, Frankii, Willow, Hannah, Lucy and Harper.
Each of these players showed outstanding improvement, determination and teamwork throughout the season.
A massive thank you from LENA to all of our coaches and umpires for the time, effort and encouragement you have given the players over the past 10 weeks.
The contribution of LENA president, Janet Parker should be played down, the countless hours she puts in behind the scenes help make netball possible for so many players and families in the community.
