Lakes Entrance Senior Citizens Club carpet bowls players gathered last week to celebrate a major milestone for one of their own, marking Brenda Eaton’s 80th birthday.
Brenda has been a dedicated member of the local club for 14 years.
The social group hits the mats for carpet bowls every Monday and Saturday afternoon from 1.15pm to 3.30pm at the Senior Citizens Club.
Organisers stress that all community members are welcome to come along, with the weekly sessions offering a perfect opportunity for gentle exercise, a friendly chat, and plenty of laughs. There are no competitive prizes on offer — just heaps of fun and good company.
