East Gippsland Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged four people following an investigation into alleged drug trafficking across the region.
Police executed a series of search warrants at properties in Lakes Entrance, Orbost, Gelantipy and Lucknow as part of the operation.
During the searches, officers allegedly seized a range of drugs, cash, weapons and luxury items, including quantities of methylamphetamine, cocaine and cannabis.
Investigators also allegedly located more than 1.5 litres of 1,4-Butanediol, prescription medications, an imitation handgun, illegal fireworks and more than $24,000 in cash.
Police further allege two stolen vehicles were recovered during the operation.
Among the items seized were designer handbags and other luxury goods estimated to be worth more than $25,000.
A 25-year-old man and a 47-year-old man, both from Lakes Entrance, have each been charged with trafficking a commercial quantity of drugs.
A 29-year-old Lakes Entrance woman has been charged with trafficking a commercial quantity of drugs and weapons offences.
A 38-year-old Gelantipy woman has been charged with possessing a drug of dependence.
All four were remanded in custody and are due to appear at the Bairnsdale Magistrates’ Court on August 12.
