This year’s annual Diamond Point Hall of Fame Legends Dinner will be held at the Metung Country Club on Friday, May 22, 2026, with the local community invited to attend.
For the first time, organisers have opened invitations to the wider East Gippsland community due to a number of available places.
“We have a few vacancies for people who have expressed an interest in attending, so we’re opening it up to the local community,” organiser Noel Weston said.
Guest speakers from Victoria Police will address the evening and take questions from the floor on criminal activity affecting local communities and their approach to current issues.
“The committee invites you and your partner to the dinner,” Legends committee president John Bull said.
The evening will begin at 5.30pm for a 6pm sit-down. Tickets include an entrée and main course, with drinks available at members’ prices. A raffle will also be held on the night, with guests encouraged to bring cash.
Organisers have also advised that payment must be made via the TryBooking app or website. Once booked, attendees are asked to notify Michael Bull (details available at the Lakes Post office), so attendance can be recorded and name tags prepared. RSVP is required by May 8.
