The story behind The Nutrition Pod

by
5 May 2026
in Local News

Health and wellbeing are about healing from the inside out – and it all begins with real, whole foods.

The Nutrition Pod’s passion is reaching out to people in the community and showing just how powerful food and nutrition can be.

Small, informed changes can create meaningful improvements to health, energy, and overall wellbeing – and that’s something everyone deserves access to.

The Nutrition Pod is a holistic hub designed to support a healthier lifestyle.

They offer a wide range of whole foods, plant-based and gluten-free options, natural cleaning products, and nourishing treats including delicious smoothies and açai bowls.

Some of their new additions include Buddha bowls, nachos and raw vegan wraps.

Their infrared sauna is another key part of what they provide, offering benefits such as detoxification, pain relief, reduced joint stiffness, and support for circulation and blood pressure.

Everything The Nutrition Pod does is centred around supporting the body naturally and gently, which is something that owner, Kerryn Vardy, takes pride in. “Opening my own business was a dream I held onto for 15 to 20 years,” Kerryn said.

“I could always picture myself creating a space like this right here in Sale – a place where people felt comfortable, supported, and inspired to take steps toward

better health.

“Seeing that dream come to life has been incredibly rewarding.” Kerryn said the most fulfilling part of running The Nutrition Pod is knowing they are helping people who truly need it.

“Being able to offer healing foods, products and knowledge brings a deep sense of gratitude,” she said.

“Sharing better choices for health and wellness is not just what we do – it’s why we do it.

“Running a business is certainly full-on, but when you genuinely love what you do, it never feels like a chore.

“I’m incredibly blessed to work alongside a wonderful, supportive team, and to have friends and locals who have helped make this a safe, welcoming and happy space for our town.

“We love that people of all ages feel comfortable popping in – familiar faces, new visitors, children, parents, and grandparents alike.

“Whether it’s for a friendly chat, a hot coffee, sticky chai, hot chocolate, or simply a smile, the sense of community is what makes this place so special.

“So please feel free to pop in and say hello at 142 Raymond Street.

“We’d love to welcome you and share the journey toward better health with you.”
