Kim’s East Gippsland Taekwondo recently held its end-of-term grading, providing students with the opportunity to progress to their next belt rank.
Cheered on by supportive family and friends, students demonstrated the kicks, self-defence techniques, and patterns they have meticulously learned over the past term. Master Kim and head instructor Tony Paganella were both impressed by the determination shown by the cohort, with Master Kim also taking the opportunity to teach students additional self-defense techniques during the session.
Taekwondo classes are set to resume the week of April 20. The club welcomes new students to participate in a come and try free class. Sessions are held on Mondays and Wednesdays in Bairnsdale at Lucknow Primary School, or Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Lakes Entrance St Brendan’s Primary School Hall.
