Students from Lakes Entrance Secondary College recently travelled to Bairnsdale to compete in the East Gippsland Volleyball
Tournament at the Bairnsdale Aquatic and Recreation Centre.
The senior team aimed for a couple of wins against Nagle College and Bairnsdale Secondary College, but were unable to secure a victory.
The intermediate team showed improvement throughout the day, finishing with one
win and two losses.
An impressive effort came from the year eight girls team, who narrowly lost one match
and won the other, demonstrating great
teamwork and determination.
The standout performance of the day came from the year eight mixed team, who won two matches and just missed out on a third. The team now waits to hear if they have qualified for the Regional round.
