Lakes Entrance Tennis Club (LETC) recently hosted “come and try” days for children eager to experience the fast-growing sport of Pickleball.
Held over the weekend on Saturday and Sunday from 10am to noon, the sessions welcomed children aged six to 12, providing a friendly and supportive environment with all equipment supplied.
Pickleball has rapidly gained popularity across Australia, with courts, centres, and clubs popping up everywhere. Traditionally played by those aged 50 and over, LETC wanted to give younger community members a chance to learn and enjoy the game.
Supervised by experienced pickleballers, the sessions offered participants the opportunity to develop new skills, play fun games, and discover the fundamentals of Pickleball.
