The Lakes Entrance Netball Association was represented at last Sunday’s Bairnsdale Netball Association tournament.
The 13 and under representative team competed in their first tournament of the year.
The players showed great determination and teamwork over seven tough rounds against strong opposition.
While the results didn’t always fall their way, the team came away with a well-earned draw which is a positive stepping stone for the season ahead.
It was fantastic to see players skills and confidence improve as the day went on.
The team was coached by Janet Parker, who was delighted with the support she got from the dedicated scorers, helpers and the supportive parents on the sidelines.
Parker was delighted with the effort of her squad and can’t wait to see the team continue to grow and improve throughout the season.
