It was another great evening last Monday at the Lakes Entrance Netball Association (LENA) with plenty to celebrate
across the NetSetGo and umpiring community.
Rachel Salisbury and Lilly Eiseman, were presented with their LENA umpire shirts after successfully completing the Foundation to Umpiring course online and their Rules of Theory exam.
It’s fantastic to see the junior girls stepping up into the role of umpire — looking very professional in their new shirts.
Rebecca Brewer has recently joined the LENA umpiring team, she received
her “C” Grade badge last
year in Bairnsdale, and the team are pleased to have her umpiring this season.
Plenty of smiling faces on court at NetSetGo, with
the young players building their skills, having fun, and cheering each other on.
The energy and enthusiasm each week makes this
program so special for the netball community.
Best on Court was Izzy Scicluna, who received the award for her excellent
calling for the ball.
Other best on court awards throughout the evening went to Harper Scicluna, Chloe Walker, Zac Matthews, Lucy Wait and Frankie Doyle.
