AusNet will carry out aerial powerline inspections across parts of East Gippsland from March 23 to 27.
Helicopters will survey infrastructure in Bumberrah, Heyfield, Johnsonville, Kalimna, Kalimna West, Lakes Entrance, Longford, Mossiface, Nicholson, Seaspray, Stradbroke, Swan Reach and Tambo Upper.
AusNet says the aerial inspections provide a bird’s-eye view of the network, allowing crews to identify wear and tear on powerlines and poles more efficiently.
The works form part of ongoing
maintenance to support a safe and
reliable electricity supply for Victorian communities.
