Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal crash in Lakes Entrance last Saturday morning.
Emergency services were called to reports that a car had crashed into an embankment and rolled on the Princes Highway near Lake Bunga Beach Road about 11.30am.
The driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, died at the scene. The person has not yet been formally identified.
Police said the investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage or other information that may assist investigators is urged to contact Crime Stoppers or submit a confidential report online.
