Lakes Entrance Cricket Club held its junior presentation day last Saturday at Lakeside Oval.
It was a fantastic way to finish the under 13 season, celebrating every player’s efforts and achievements throughout the year. With a healthy number of juniors who love the game, the future is bright for the Seagulls.
The club maintained two teams throughout the season, with some players in their first year and others more experienced, all showing significant improvement over the past five months.
The club is grateful for the efforts of coaches Scott Tite and Ollie Chaplin, team managers Leigh Walker and Kevin Watson, and the parents who turned up each Friday night to score, cook a barbecue, organise the kids and assist off-field.
White Team award winners were Augie Neal (coach’s award), Kade Watson (batting), Tanner O’Donnell (most improved) and Ben Calleja (bowling). Maroon Team trophy winners were Mikaela Walker (most improved), Mack Anderson (batting), Tyler Purcell (bowling) and Declan Bills (coach’s award).
The Seagulls are looking forward to welcoming all players back for the 2026/27 season.
