In recognition of International Women’s Day and to celebrate the Give to Gain Campaign, the Lakes Entrance Fire Brigade women recently gathered.
“We have women members of our brigade who are both operational and nonoperational, but who are all essential to the success and viability of our brigade,” they said.
“We are diverse in the range of our ages, backgrounds and responsibilities to the CFA and our community and encourage everyone to consider if they could contribute to their community and enrich their own lives by being a part of such an essential service in our East Gippsland area.”
