Black Dog Ride, established in 2009 to raise awareness of depression and suicide prevention, has raised millions for mental health programs nationwide. The riders rolled into Lakes Entrance on Friday, February 20, enjoying a dinner at the Central Hotel with 60 people in attendance.
“It’s always awesome to see so many bikes and big hearts together for such an important cause,” the Central Hotel’s Alison Murphy said.
“Black Dog Ride uses the power of community and conversation to help break down stigma and encourage people to reach out and talk about mental health.”
The riders stayed overnight in Lakes Entrance before continuing on to their next destination.
