After 13 years of dedicated service, Lakes Sports and Community Club caterer Mena Leong is taking a well-
deserved rest.
“Members and guests have greatly appreciated Mena’s quality meals and warm service in running the Bistro over the years,” said the club’s chairperson, David Baldi.
“Her contribution to the club has been significant, and her time with Lakes Sports will always be remembered as an important chapter in its history. She will be sadly missed.”
Mena’s final day will be Saturday, February 28, and members are encouraged to book for one last meal to farewell her.
NEW CATERER BRINGS NEW TASTE
Following a thorough selection process, the LSCC Board has appointed local resident Sam Mahlook, former owner of
Miriam’s Restaurant, as the club’s new caterer.
Sam brings extensive experience in hospitality and catering, having worked in hotels and restaurants across the region.
She will launch a fresh new menu and rebrand the Bistro as Miriam’s at the ET, officially opening on Wednesday, March 4. To ensure a smooth transition, the Bistro will be closed from March 1 to 3.
“Management and the board look forward to welcoming members and guests to our refreshed Bistro experience and thank the Lakes Entrance community for your continued support of our club,”
Mr Baldi said.
