An upcoming creative workshop in Maffra will give participants the chance to explore watercolour techniques while capturing one of Australia’s most recognisable native plants.
An Eucalyptus Watercolour Workshop will be held at the Maffra Memorial Hall, 11 Foster Street, on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 10am to noon.
The session will focus on painting eucalyptus leaves and foliage using watercolour, with guidance provided in a relaxed and supportive setting suitable for a range of skill levels. Participants will learn techniques to create soft washes, natural tones and detailed botanical elements, with the aim of producing their own finished artwork by the end of the workshop.
Organisers say the workshop is designed for both beginners and those with some experience who are looking to refine their watercolour skills while enjoying a social and creative morning.
The cost is $50 per person, with places expected to be limited.
