The Nicholson Community Group hosted their 36th Australia Day celebrations at the Moon Reserve off Nicholson-Sarsfield Road.
The annual event was originally started by local vet Greg Padgett, who has since passed away. The community group has continued the tradition, which has grown alongside the local community over the years.
Residents gathered for a light lunch, catching up with friends and sharing the latest local news. Despite a slightly windy day, the event was described as very enjoyable by those in attendance.
