Lakes Entrance Little Athletics has received a welcome boost thanks to a sporting grant from East Gippsland Shire Council.
The funding has enabled the club to purchase a new multi-lane line-marking machine, which is already proving its worth. Tasks that once took volunteers several hours can now be completed in a fraction of the time, easing the workload on helpers and ensuring the track remains in top condition for young athletes.
Club officials said the grant would make a practical difference to weekly operations, allowing more time to focus on athletes while maintaining high-quality facilities for the season ahead.
