A Lakes Entrance woman has had a sleepless night after a late-night ticket check revealed she had won $250,000 in a recent Keno draw.
The woman held a Keno Classic entry in draw 51, drawn on Monday. She matched 20 numbers on her 40 Spot entry, securing a neat payday.
“I’m feeling extra good this morning,” she told Keno officials.
“I’ve been playing Keno for a while now, so to be blessed with a win like this is incredible. I always play a random ticket. I never expected a win like this.”
With $250,000 soon to land in her lap, the winner shared that she would be able to slash her mortgage.
“I’ll be able to wipe my mortgage out thanks to the win,” she said.
“Thank you, Keno. I haven’t had a chance to think clearly, but I’ll have to plan a fancy dinner to celebrate.”
Her winning entry was purchased online via the Keno – Let’s Play App.
