Something different is coming to the Kalimna Pub hill, with an outdoor music event set to showcase original acoustic artists.
Grassroots on the Hill, presented by the Kalimna Hotel and Serendipity Music Events, will be held on Sunday, March 1.
“We are trying something different for the
local music scene, and at $20 a ticket it is great value,” said Olivia Lay, founder of Serendipity Music Events.
“There is a great line-up of artists for this first event of its type in Lakes Entrance.”
The event kicks off at 12.30pm with a variety of performances. Jack Raymond, originally from Bright, will play Mountain Roots-style music, followed by Indie Folk duo JC & The Tree.
Lakes Entrance’s own Olivia Lay will perform folk, blues and roots, while UK artist Lyle McLoughlin, a popular performer at the Kalimna, rounds out the line-up.
The Kalimna Hotel will offer a special menu and drinks for the day, and tickets are available through the hotel’s website.
Music lovers are encouraged to head along, support local artists, and enjoy a relaxed afternoon on the hill.
