The Social Exercise and Walking Football (Soccer) program is returning after the
holiday break.
The popular fun exercise program for people of all abilities, aged 50 plus, will start on
March 3 at 10am.
It will then run every Tuesday after that at the Lakes Entrance Youth and Recreation Hall at 21 Carpenter Street.
Participants need to bring suitable exercise wear, runners or indoor soccer boots.
Attendees will enjoy warm up exercises to music, ball skills session, fun small sided games with modified rules.
The sessions are designed to improve flexibility, balance, strength and overall physical and mental health.
The program is led by friendly, experienced leaders and a winning gold medalist
coach of the Whittlesea Lakers mixed social walking football competition, at the
Australian Masters Games.
The sessions are supported by the East Gippsland Social Seniors Exercise Group.
