The Lakes Entrance Amateur Basketball Association will host a beginner referee course on Sunday, March 1, from 9am to 3pm.
The course is open to anyone aged 13 and over who is interested in becoming a referee, with no prior experience required.
Officiating offers a unique way to get involved in the game, with participants gaining confidence, leadership skills and a greater understanding of basketball, while supporting the local competition.
The program is ideal for players, parents and fans, and all are welcome to attend.
