The Sale Field and Game Association hosted its first shoot of the year on Sunday, attracting a huge field of 144 shooters.
Competition was strong across all grades, with
very little separating the winners from the rest of the field in the 50–off–the–gun
event.
Winners on the day were Mat Ward (“AA”), Mark Howard (“A”), Jamie Schweighofer (“B”), Colin Ray (“C”), Joanne Russell (ladies), Jim Wood (veteran), Rory Clark (sub–junior), and Zavier Musgrove (junior).
The association expressed gratitude to the volunteers who helped organise such a large field. Their contribution, often overlooked in today’s busy world, was key to the smooth running of the event.
