THUMBS UP: Thanks to the generous people who are donating unused fishing rods and tackle for our hard-working seasonal workers, helping them to relax and have fun when far from their families and so helpful at Christmas and beyond.
THUMBS DOWN: Wattle Point Road is now 60km/h, down from 100km/h. The road is in good order with low traffic. The people whom make these constant decisions to lower all our speed limits have excelled themselves in stupidity this time. These fools should allow the people whom drive on them to have some input.
THUMBS UP: To all BARC staff. Despite increased foot traffic (due to outdoor pool closure) they manage to run this centre well, putting safety first for clients and staff. The pool deck is like a sauna.
THUMBS DOWN: To the river walk being closed at 6am Saturday, so walkers don’t disturb bats in the area. Perhaps relocate them to the outdoor pool if they need a quiet place with no visitors.
THUMBS DOWN: To the size of the font in Thumbs Up/Thumbs Down – hard to read for older eyes.
