The Lakes Entrance parkrun this year hosted a Christmas Day event, which was well attended by 37 participants.
They bravely enjoyed the five kilometre walk, jog and run along the Esplanade on a wintery Christmas Day.
Despite the significance of the day, it still attracted 12 first timers, saw two personal best times and attracted athletes from three running groups.
Billy Andrews led the field home in 20 minutes and 53 seconds, with the first female home being Charlie Darcy (21.46), who was hot on his heels in second place.
Personal best times were recorded by Ellie Darcy (31.01) and Charli Richardson (32.04).
Representatives of TXR Runners, Australia Post Group and Lakes and District Runners took to the course.
The event departs the rotunda at 8am each and every Saturday.
