Lakes Entrance Fire Brigade has been in touch with Santa and the big news is he will be coming back for the 2025 annual Santa Run on Christmas Eve.
He is scheduled to arrive at 3pm today and will be on the big red fire truck travelling around the streets of Lakes Entrance.
A map is available on the Lakes Entrance Fire Brigade Facebook page and on the day the brigade will have a live online tracker so everyone can see where Santa is.
The brigade said in a statement that unfortunately due to the size of the town it is not possible to visit every road.
“If you don’t live on a road being visited, please go to the closest road marked,” the statement said.
The Santa Run is always subject to adverse weather and operational requirements as was the situation last Christmas Eve when the brigade was called to an emergency at Lake Bunga Beach Road.
It was reported that Santa helped the firefighters prepare for the situation and even came back on Christmas Day where the kind CFA volunteers drove him around on the fire truck, much to the delight of the many children.
