Last Saturday saw 61 participants take the opportunity to take part in the weekly Lakes Entrance parkrun.
The five-kilometre run, jog or walk the esplanade provides an excellent chance to interact with other like-minded people while exercising for fitness or fun.
The event attracted 16 first timers, saw six personal
best times and representatives of five different clubs out on the course.
Charlie Darcy led the field home in a personal best
time of 20 minutes and 12 seconds, shaving eight seconds off her fastest time in her 11th attempt.
Other personal best times were recorded by Trent Clarke (23.11), Zoe Nairn (25.18), Melina Perera (42.01), Jaimie Corrie (42.38) and Daniel Corrie (42.39).
Clubs represented included The Adventurers, Australia Post Group, Baw Baw Runners, RIOT Club and Kudos Running
Crew Canberra.
The event departs the rotunda at 8am each and every Saturday.
