Wet weather took over with last Saturday’s Lakes Entrance parkrun seeing 21 dedicated participants tackling the five-kilometre run, jog or walk.
Among the field were five first-time participants and members of the Lakes and District Runners, Pakenham Road Runners, Riviera Triathlon Club and Point Cook Runners.
Regular Bairnsdale parkrunner and triathlete, Ethan Sanderson, led the field home in 18 minutes and 31 seconds, with Peta Bassett (25.19) the first female across the line.
The event departs the rotunda at 8am each and every Saturday, a chance to exercise with others for fitness or fun.
