Do you know who St Nic’s are? Where they are and who is welcome?
They are the Anglican Church in town, opposite Woolies, and everyone is welcome, however young, elderly or in between
you are.
Now that December has arrived St Nic’s are ready to enjoy many extra happenings and hope you may come along and be part of the celebrations.
Do you know how Christmas became a reason for celebration? The story starts with a special baby, born in a manger many years ago, on December 25. He was named Emmanuel becoming Jesus Christ and on Christmas Day we celebrate his birthday every year.
St Nic’s recently invited two other local churches to come and join them for a joyous evening of songs, and togetherness. An Ecumenical service.
“We nearly lifted the rafters of the church with our singing,” parishioners said.
St Nic’s also has an opportunity shop that has something for everyone. Because they are super grateful for all the volunteer workers at the shop, they gave them a mouthwatering early Christmas lunch.
