Feel your best – naturally

Nestled in the heart of Bairnsdale at 60 Ligar Street, Twin Rivers Osteopathy is helping the community

move better, feel better and live well.

Founded in July 2023 by Dr Sharon Banks, the clinic offers a welcoming, patient-centred approach, where paramount concern, following consultation of a patient’s symptoms, is establishing and focusing

on treating the root causes

of pain.

As the principal osteopath and company director, Dr Sharon Banks brings more than a decade of experience to East Gippsland.

After completing her master’s degree in Osteopathy at the British School of Osteopathy in London, Dr Banks relocated from the UK to establish Twin Rivers Osteopathy.

Her vision remains simple: to provide high-quality, hands-on care in a friendly and professional environment.

Working alongside Sharon is Warren Banks, the clinic’s IT manager and director, and greeting patients with a smile is Themedia Meyer, the clinic’s receptionist, who helps ensure every visit runs smoothly.

What is osteopathy?

Osteopathy is a form of manual therapy that looks at the whole body to support natural healing.

Combining gentle, non-invasive techniques – such as soft-tissue massage, joint mobilisation and stretching to help revitalise movement, therapeutical treatment can also contribute toward increased mobility and motorisation, better circulation and an overall sense of improved wellbeing.

Thus, by restoring balance in the body’s structure, osteopaths can help relieve pain and improve function.

Common conditions addressed at Twin Rivers Osteopathy include:

– Shoulder, back, and knee discomfort

– Postural alignment challenges

– Sciatica and arthritic pain

– Discomfort during pregnancy

– General muscle tension and stiffness

The clinic also offers Massage Therapy and hot stone therapy massage for those seeking deep relaxation or muscular relief.

At Twin Rivers, patients are more than just clientele – they’re partners in their own health journey.

Dr Banks and her team take the time to listen, understand and tailor each treatment plan to suit individual needs.

Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing chronic pain, or simply wanting to improve your posture, our focus is on significant long-term solutions.
