The Freestone Printmakers collective will present their latest group exhibition, TRUESELF, at the Briagolong Art Gallery from November 1 to December 7 2025, celebrating individuality, creativity and the power of self-expression.
Featuring works by Penny Carruthers, Judy Dorber, Lesley Duxbury, Alison Elliot, Amanda Goodge, Kye Hanley, Susan Hibberdine, Gillian Kline, Gail Noble, Adelaide Macpherson, Fiona Reynolds and Sara Tuell, the exhibition showcases a diverse range of styles and mediums — from acrylics and watercolours to linocuts and collagraphs.
Each artist explores what compels and inspires them to create, expressing their own “trueself” through colour, texture and form.
The works reflect the artists’ shared passion for printmaking and their individual approaches to interpreting the world around them.
The exhibition’s official opening will take place at 2pm on Sunday, November 2, inviting art lovers from across Gippsland to meet the artists and enjoy an afternoon of creativity
and conversation.
Briagolong Art Gallery is located on the corner of Avon and Forbes Streets, Briagolong, and is open Saturdays and Sundays, 10am to 3pm, or by appointment.
