Gippsland Lakes Lionesses Chris Boyes and Maria Armistead have taken over as the booking team for the Mechanics Hall and would like to remind old and new residents that the hall is the perfect venue for your event.
“The Mechanics Hall is a wonderful asset for the Lakes Entrance community and we can look after all aspects of the booking process for you to enjoy this venue,” Chris said.
Features for hire include a large hall able to accommodate 250 people seated or 300 standing. The separate meeting room can accommodate 50 people seated. Other facilities included in both rooms are free WiFi, audio/video, a projector, screen, heating and cooling and a fully equipped kitchen.
There is a four metre by two metre stage also available in the main hall.
“Whatever event you are planning, an indoor market, rock and roll festival, flower show, art exhibition, dancing classes, birthday parties, funeral, prayer groups, product demonstrations etc., talk to us and see how we can assist you,” Maria said.
“There is also the Bingo which runs every Monday night.”
