A total of $14,069.40 was generously donated by the local community in Lakes Entrance, Bairnsdale and Paynesville areas during this year’s Legacy Week.
On behalf of local beneficiaries chair and secretary of East Gippsland Legacy Branch Tony Webb thanked all those who donated to raise funds to care and support local area Legacy widows and beneficiary families.
“It was very heartwarming to witness the generosity and support from the East Gippsland community again in this year’s Legacy Week appeal,” Mr Webb said.
He also thanked all Legatees and their families, the volunteers from the Bairnsdale RSL and Ulysses Club members for covering the shifts over the six-day appeal
period.
