Bowls Victoria has finalised its squad for over 60s competition the 2025 Nationals at the Devonport Country Club in Tasmania.
The event will take place from November 15-18, and the squad contains Lakes Entrance star Julie Simpson.
Other members of the women’s squad include Karen Morgan, Rebecca McMahon, Anne Miles, Claire Sanders, Vicki Smith, Jenny Keep, Jan Hurst, Mary Paton, Gayle Edwards, Julie Fitt and Paula Wood.
There are some big names in the men’s squad which consists of Steve Shennan, Peter Campbell, Michale Wilson, Chris Young, Colin Veenandaal,
Nick Dawe, Phil Godlin, Ian Ewing, Tom Englezos, Mick O’Neill, Ray Jansen and Mike Peters.
The selections were made following an ultimately successful series against New South Wales.
Bowls Victoria is the three-time defending champion of the Betty Collins OAM women’s trophy, while the Glynn Bosito MBE overall trophy has been won in two of the last
three years.
