The two-day Stratford Pony Club Jumping Festival concluded last Sunday with the pony club event at the Sale Showgrounds.
The course was built by a legendary local showjumping identity, with Dallas and Kath given the tough job of the of judging the event and competition hotly contested.
Pony champions were Darcy Wade and Miss Delfyne (“A” grade), Ava Harrington and Major (“B” grade), Emily Wagstaff and Tai Tai (“C” grade), Jasmine Lynch and Tom (“D” grade), Lara Toner and Flash (“E” grade), Mitchell O’Brien and Delta (“F” grade), and Maddie Proffitt and Alice (“G” grade).
Reserve pony champions were Matilda Mason and Arthuras (“A” grade), Matilda Mason and Deceptive (“B” grade),
Ella-Rose Taylor and Janey (“C” grade), Summah Coleman and Blondes Have More Fun (“D” grade), Lily Bennett and Cookie
(“E” grade), Payton Costigan and Eddie (“F” grade) and Evie Killeen and Penny (“G” grade).
In the off-the-track Thoroughbred section, Wade and Miss Delfyne were the senior winners, Grace Speirs and Alpha Tango Sierra took out the junior section, with the best horse being Airly Ridge Winnie for Skye Orchard.
The encouragement award winner was Tracey Ryan.
