Lakes Entrance Primary School is excited to be welcoming its future preps with the 2026 Prep Transition Program.
The program is all about helping children feel ready for school and making the big
step into prep a smooth and positive experience.
Over eight weeks, children will take part in four half-day and four full-day sessions on Fridays. These days are filled with hands-on activities that build early literacy and
numeracy skills, strengthen fine motor development, and help children get used to the routines of school life.
The program also gives students the chance to explore the school, get to know their teachers and make new friends before the year begins. With a strong focus on wellbeing, including programs like the Berry Street Education Model, Lakes Entrance Primary ensures every child feels comfortable, supported and ready to learn.
